Looking for information on my 67 Camaro. [Archive]

I have a 1967 Camaro. I am the 2nd owner. When I purchased the car in 1978, it had 9200 miles on it. It now has only 10,600 miles on it. The original owner took the factory motor out and installed a 427 in it. I am trying to find out a ballpark value on the car. The car is immaculate. All original paint, muffler, wiper blades, ect. It has never been in the rain and has always been garage kept under a cover. Is there anybody that can help me out?

I'm not sure if this is a car built by Yenko...

Which 427 is in it?
I see it has lightweight heads... is it an L89 or an L88?

I was told it is an L88. I think it is a 512 block with a 69 date casting. Very hard to read the numbers as the motor is painted black. It does have 074 heads. Going to try and get a better look in the very near future.

Please do yourself a favor and replace the glass fuel filter because these are very hazardous and I would hate to hear of something bad happening to this beautfull car.

Just catching up here and have to echo the above statement.
I had one of those glass filters unscrew and spray the engine compartment with gas. Lucky for me the car was just warming up and catastrophe was avoided. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
