View Full Version : New Dodge Challenger
Looks like they have added some cool colors to their Fall 2009 builds. Plum Crazy, B5 Blue, and Detonator Yellow.

One thing for sure they got that car right with the retro look. That bright silver is sharp in person. Camaro missed the mark... The rear of new camaro is just ugly, and interior looks goofy. Just my .002

B5 Blue has already been available...saw several this color over the summer at various car cruises

You better hurry if you want anything Dodge. Fiat just announced they are killing the Dodge brand and are not putting anymore $$ into it

According to Wall Street Journal article today the Challenger and Charger are to continue.Dropping Caliber,Nitro and mid size(Avenger?). Dodge to become a niche performance division. Funny didn't GM say the same thing about Pontiac originally?

I was at the local dealer last week witha buddy looking at a Ram truck. They had a White, Red and Black car there. They are awesome to look at. Mother Mopar did a fine job on the looks of this car

I was driving by a local dealership and saw that they had a blk/blk SRT 8 Limited 6 spd, 3:90 car for sale. Has anyone bought or driven one that can share the experience?

Good question. More specifically does anyone have or driven (hard) a 6.1 425 horse hemi? How is the acceleration? Neck snapping? Inquiry minds would love to know http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Neck Snapping? I believe the problem with these cars is they are too heavy! Have not seen one at the drags yet. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Both will snap you back in the Seat. The R/T Weighs about 3900lbs,With the 6 speed and 3:92s turn off the Traction Control and dump the clutch you can feel that 375hp.The SRT-8 weighs about 200lbs more and has 50 more horses. You can feel it. The Orange SRT-8 I was trying to get was really responsive with the 6 speed and 3:92 gears.
