Well i can tell you what the car is,or what it was when i bought it,found it in 1988 in san diego 70 ls5 4 sp the guy had owned it sence 1972,it had an auto trans in it ,but the pedals were still in there, the guy told me,he kept breaking the transmission,so he switched it to an auto, ive sence switched it back to 4 sp and have just started racing it,it is such a blast to race,i remember promicing the guy i bought it from,if he sold it to me i would never sell it,ive kept my promis for 21 years and have absolutly no plans for selling it.Back to racing i raced a 2009 dodge challenger srt and beat him twice, you can see the race on you tube, its under metlakatla drags, its toatl grass roots racing on an abanond air strip, our car club is called ketchikan kruzers thanks kris...

Your correct it does not appear to be a build sheet. I blew the picture up on my iphone and they are numbers with decimals almost like a reciept. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Kansas City built `70 Chevelles had buildsheets in several places, but no 2 cars got them in the same place everytime.
Check inside the front fenders if original, the bottoms and backs of all the seats, inside the A-pillar covers, on the gas tank, and maybe under the carpeting.
I have Kansas City `70 Chevelle here that had them in the places mentioned, except under the carpet and in the A-pillar, and included sheets from 3 other different cars, for a total of 8 sheets.

Kris,
Here are your pics....
Rick was dead one....those are indeed destination charges.
Hope you do take Rick`s suggestions and look in all the remaining area`s and I hope you do find atleast another full Build Sheet.
Also appears to have been delivered to a California Dealership. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Good Luck.

Not only were Leeds cars sent to CA, but Van Nuys cars were sent to the midwest. I guess it all depended on what assembly line could fulfill the order at the time.
Interesting.....good info. Thanks!
Look under the rear package tray cardboard too, especially if it was a later assembly..
