I got my brochure today too. I'm pumped!!

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys. If all goes as planned, we will be arriving at the show mid morning on Fri.

I've never been to Chicago. It wouldn't dare snow around there in November, right? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

This show has the potential to be something very special and set new standards. The Vintage Certification (unrestored) program is excited to be a part of this inaugural event. We have 6 outstanding cars. The first to sign up for our program was Grady Burch and his Dusk Blue COPO Chevelle, followed by Charley Lillard's 70.5 RS/Z28 Classic Copper (yes the one with 1100 mile), Phil Wojnarowski's stunning 69 Black SS Chevelle, Joe Demesey Black 70 LS6 Chevelle, Vic Preisler's Black 70.5 Z28 COPO, and Mark Bulaw's Lemans Blue 69 RS/Z28. This is an amazing assembly of unrestored cars that are on display for all to view. We will spend three hours on each car and they will even placed on a lift..

The Judging team includes Brett Merryman , Jack Seymour, Chris White and yours truly. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and say hello.

As most of you know I have a passion for survivor cars, and yesterday I had a chance to drive Old Blue my RS/SS L34 24K mile survivor. My drive was quite an event, because I had the original tires on the car and they light up with a touch of the throttle and track in just about any groove in the roadway. There is nothing like driving these time capsules. http://www.yenko.net/attachments/426840-IMG_1837resize.JPG

I haven't seen all 6 of those survivors but I've seen both Grady's COPO, and Phil's 69 survivor. Both are time capsules, well worth making the trip to the show to see. Their also both good guys to meet, as well as the others I'm sure.
