Hi guys. I think it's in my best interest to try and sell my engine. While I'd love to keep it, it'll help me fund finishing up work on both cars.

At the moment, the engine is in Phoenix, AZ. It has been torn down and the block and heads are ready to be cleaned. As far as I can tell, there is no major wear on any of the cylinder walls and there are no sleeves. It is currently standard bore.

The stamp is original on the block (no restamp). There is no VIN # stamped in either regular location. Nothing has been ground. There's just no stamp. Upon my initial post about selling this, it came to light that there's another block with the same date out there that also didn't have a VIN stamp.

Below is all the info you might need, numbers-wise. And yes, I am aware that is not the correct carb, but it will come with the engine as that's the one that was on there when we tore it down.

Engine also includes original crank (looks to be in great shape), original TRW pistons, the original cam, and a 143 cam purchased through Mr. Clary here on the boards, original rods, etc. (basically, all internals on the engine), harmonic balancer. Also has original valve covers.

<font color="blue">PRICE: $8200</font>

PICTURES: Please drop me a PM with an e-mail address and I'll send you pics. The current ones I have are not fantastic. I apologize for this. If anyone who is serious about the engine is not satisfied, I will be back in Phoenix next month and can take better pictures for you then.

Wish I had the coin. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif This engine would fit real nice into my July built 69 SS post sedan. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Not the one pictured below.

Thanks for the reminder, Dan. I gave it a shot. Their posting of ads is a little unusual compared to other forums, so hopefully people actually will see it.
