Does anyone have one or knows of who re-pops the small clip that holds the oil pressure wire on the Drivers Side.

I`ll see if I can dig up a picture of one.

Thanks,
Dan.

Let me know if you find one Dan. Thats one of the few items I still need too. I'd like to see a picture, if you have one.

After a year or so, I finally found two nice original air shock hoses, to go with the nos air shocks on the Elky.

They also make the correct temperature sending unit with the threaded post and nut. Got one from Hinshaw's Chevelle in Elon, NC.

Is that clip for the wire, line,or either? Was it used in 70?

Yes it was used in 1970. This is Mark Mitchell's LS6.

I agree Jim. I was looking at the overspray on Rick's LS-6 restorations, last week at the MCACN show, and picked Ricks brain a bit on how to do it, so it will hold up longer.

I like the clean look, with no overspray, but I like the overspray look too. Enough to pull the motor out and change it? I can see that happening sometime this winter.

[/ QUOTE ]I have an L-bracket that receives the oil pressure line with a compression fitting. I don't believe the gauge cars use that wire clip.
