Does anyone know which intake came first, the Torker TM-2R or the 2-R? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Thanks, Kurt

Hi Kurt, I have a '68, '69 and '70 Edlebrock catalog at home but I will not have access to it until Friday afternoon. If that doesn't cut it I'm sure one of my Motion catalogs will help. If you can hang tight, I should be able to help later in the week.
Thanks,
Dan

Edelbrock Tarantula TM2R came out in the late Spring of 1971. Check SS&DI, Car Craft, etc. They all ran ads for the new Tarantulas. The Truppi-Kling Chevelle got one of the first ones from Edelbrock. Most likely first Big Block Chevy to run that intake in SS/EA Class. Torker 2R was a mid 70's issue.

Kevin, thanks for the info. That helps a lot. As a matter of fact, I just picked up a TM2R tonight. It's not perfect but a good option if I decide to run it on my car.

Kurt,
I just spent sometime looking through my catalogs and they actually do not list either intake. I have a '71 Edelbrock catalog too but its an early release.
Not much help.
