I can't confirm that there were any BB 69-70 Acadians. If there were, I would not expect any L78's. Reason I say that is that no L78's were put in A-Body Beaumonts or in any Canadian built Chevelles.

Now, mid 60's L79 Acadians are a different story http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

As far as I know there were no big block Acadians built. I believe there were only around 1500 or so big block Beaumonts built.

It's generally accepted that no BB Acadians were built. Even though 1270 325HP L79 Chevy II's were built in 1968, and a few of them were sold new in Canada, there doesn't appear to have been any production of 1968 L79 Acadians.
In 1966, they were a total of 63 L79 Acadians built. Most of those were Canso Sport Deluxe models, but an L79 Acadian Canso Sport Coupe exists and an Invader L79 2 Door Sedan, so non SD L79 Acadians were also built.
