I'm offering an original 302 DZ Carb from a 1969 Z/28. I have several pictures of the carb so that you can judge the fine condition for yourself. Just click on Pictures of the Z28 Carb (http://picasaweb.google.com/Morris.Porter/Z28Carb#) to see for yourself. The carb looks great and may have been restored at one time, as the coloring and the condition of the metal on this is excellent. Appears to be complete and ready to use in the '69 Z/28 of your choice. Please look at the pictures before asking questions as I suspect the pics will answer virtually any concern you may have. If this doesn't sell on the board, I will post it on Ebay with a reserve of $795 plus shipping. Selling it here to board members for $699 plus shipping. Paypal is the preferred method of payment. My email is
[email protected] or call me at 781-888-0015. Thanks for the posting SYC.

Perhaps someone cleaned it up - it's been in storage for 5 years and I've never touched it before.

Will drop to $499 before going to ebay.

Am guessing someone hit it with something like Eastwood's "carb renew". Linkage, screws and the like sholdn't be gold. Still, looks to be mostly all there, but will need to be gone through and recolored correctly.
Good luck with the sale.

Agreed on all counts Lynn. That's why I posted the extensive photos (and later dropped the price). It actually appears to be in good working condition, but I wouldn't put it on my car without a good rebuild. BTW, thanks for taking the high road in your description of what you saw happening to the carb, unlike the previous guy who felt like a one-liner was called for. I appreciate it.

Hey M G,
The only reason i said what i said earlier is because you stated that it was restored at one time and that the coloring was in excellent condition with the overspray everywhere. It still a nice complete carb.

Doesn't look restored, just a cheap kit installed (note the inferior, non-original, type needle and seat assemblies installed in the fuel bowls).
