I guess my story was hard to read for some,i just got used to texting&that's why it's so confusing-LoL-I would like to clarify the story- I was tracking down one of my Dad's Old cars,It was a Very Hard car to find. When i did find it,The guy who has it,Agreed to sell it Back,But he wanted-$35,000-as it sat,It needed a wire harness&with it fixed he said the price would Jump to -$50,000!He paid $5,500&was At the rite place at the rite time.I hope this isnt confusing to anyone here.
Your story in interesting, and we love pictures of "period built" cars around here. You definitely started off on the right foot by introducing yourself and including those pics. There are web sites which spell out appropriate “netiquette”, which is etiquette for the internet. It might be worth a brief reading.
If you read most of my posts, you’ll see I often misspell and mistype words, so I am full of fault in that aspect. This post is a little easier to read, but if you are going to make an effort to make posts which are easier to follow, please take the following edit in the positive way it is intended.

I’m not the Grammar Police, and there may even be flaws with my edit, but I think your threads might be received better if you follow some of these ques.
Now, do you have any old pics of those leaves on your dad’s car? I’m sure we can blame a little of this on them http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif j/k.

That shift boot is cool man, nice and old. They don't make them with the old H in them anymore. Do yourself a favor and pop that chrome plate out of the boot, polish it up as best you can, flip the red plastic which is probably very UV faded and re-install the chrome peice. Quick way to sprice up one of your center peices Mr. 4onthefloor!

I did Armor all all the vinyl on the car and the little chrome piece cleaned up good. I am to afraid of ripping the Boot to make it Really Shiny. As Far as that Shag Rug, I dont have any extra pieces, Wish i did.
P:S-That Nova on a Sunday sounds Choppy!! Music to my Ears http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif
