The Nova had some Really nice "Super Wide" tires, They looked perfect and they had nice treads, Also the car had Cragar SS rims 14's all around and Back wheel's were Reverse Deep Dish. As soon as when rolled car out Garage basically all the tires Disintergrated.

I can't speak about our first Presidents wig on the dash, but those day two mud flaps are on a survivor 69 BM Camaro pictured here on this site. I also had a pair on my Chevelle that were installed waaaaaaaaaaay back, (I took them off) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

Here is how the motor looked in the car. The original owner had the thing built up in the 1970's. He said it was NOT numbers matching. The shop did change the heads to 441 casting's, to lower Compression for Crap Gas. It has a Fireball 290H cam- A Real Deal Z/28 intake manifold GM#3932472 and factory carb heat shield- Holley 650 Dp- Single point ignition-Very old Accel wires and some big headers with 4 bolt collector's.

Underneath pic. Here you can see the 4 bolt collected headers. Also you clearly see the tranny, Which is Cast Iron
Im sure its a Saginaw - Its connected to a Hurst Shifter. The Clutch is a Scheiffer.
It is still in Perfect Shape!
P:S- I have Spare Tranny's,A few 3 speeds and a M20-muncie just in case the Saginaw breaks under my 454's Power.

Here is original owner handing me the keys. This was his 1st Car. He had it all tru high school and always garaged the car, Sold me the car "Non-running" because he couldnt get it to fire up. It had sat in this spot for 20+ years. He knew what my intentions were with the car and wasnt hurting for cash or anything like that. It was love at 1st site. I wasnt leaving the garage with out that car! We came to a good deal and I took it home. I want to thank Thom for letting me Get the Nova. Thank's it's part of my family now and when its done,Your getting behind the wheel to relive your teen years! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

That steering wheel came with the nova. It was on it in the 1970's. I got Thrush mufflers from a Canadian guy, They are in brand new shape, Never used. The "396"-325Hp decal on the air cleaner is to fake people out, Its a LS4-454...But I recently got a Flyeye from Mr.427. I won it on Ebay..He is a cool dude-Thanks Mr.427 U The MAN!
P:S- Those Big M/T tires in the backround are actually 245/50/13's they are going on my 1976 Astre (Vega) wagon.

Here is the 1973 LS4-454 I swapped in to the Nova. It was a Factory Replacement motor and has Very low miles. We pulled the pan and it was excellant! Also when i yanked out the Q-jet intake,It looked perfect almost New inside ! So as of now it is all GM. And yes it has POWER!

Here is how it looks after it was painted , I did put a GM performance 502 bigblock short aluminum waterpump. With the minimal modification's that were done, This motor is a Torque Monster! Im still running the Factory GM cam and it has nice idle to it, Not lumpy but satisfying. Also im running Swap Headers 1 -3/4 primaries They went in with out a hitch! For a clutch,I got a Centerforce Dual Friction Kit and a Jeg's Flywheel. This car will be driven. Im bringing Day2 Back to Buffalo!
