Looking to put some car lifts in the man cave. Anyone have any pros or cons on 4 posts, 2, or single. Any experiences are helpful. Please post or pm any suggestions.

I've handled most types. Often I find people who ask this are best suited with a 4 post. The BYB ones are the most robust and expensive hobbyist type lift, but I don't subscribe to their philosophy (scare tactics) that anything made off-shore will fail.

Where are you located in PA, I can probably give you a few places to check some out in use.

What are your needs?

There was a thread on this topic not too long ago, where everyone made their recommendations. You might want to try a search. Personally, I have a Backyard Buddy and although the name sounds stupid, the lift is awesome. It's a four post lift made in Ohio and I've used it almost every day for six years. Ed

American or Canadian Built 4 post hoist.
Better and Stronger Metal.
4 post hoist is great for storage and service needs.
2 post if you are into service only. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Very happy with Backyard Buddy - own two of them. Also heard great things about Bend Pak lifts as well.
