If you said Lakewood, then I assume its Lakewood, NJ? That is 'Slick Nick' territory, and the dealership name has changed a few times pursuant to various lawsuits. If so, be careful.

If its Red, we looked at it 2 weeks ago. Car has good paper work and is a real SS350, Original code 43 Citrus Green, Original bench seat converted to buckets. Undercarriage is old and unrestored. Lots of fresh Chevy Orange and under hood fluff. Half quarters installed poorly. Some rust under car in rear bumper area Looks OK at cruise night and is a 50 footer at best.

Kevin, how did you know that it was a real SS?

Someone can probably find it, but I recall years ago there was a '68 Z with some issues - I think it was blue....

I've been there a few times, he would not acknowledge that a '69 Yenko Camaro that was there was a clone - as was most of the other non-supercars in there. Most cars had pretty paint, but that was it.

Marlin,

The car had a POP and Sales Paper Work. Also had rear sway bar brackets welded to the floor pan. Called my Iowa Brother "Schonye" for some Nova Schooling.

Ok, sounds like an SS with the rear sway brackets - although I've seen them welded in, but that's rare.
