Tuxedo black, red leather, headrest seats, knockoffs, sidepipes, power steering, brakes, antenna. Matching number 390 horse 427. Non original, new Holley carb. I have not checked trans. or rearend but I would assume they are probably original to the car as well. I don't know much history on this car. Appears to be a older restoration with some minor incorrect items. Car has been in a collection for several years. Not perfect but a very nice car with a beautiful color combination. I have put about 500 miles on it and the car runs and drives great. I have $68,500 in the car and would just like my money back on it. I can take more detailed photos if anyone would like to see anything in particular. Or you can call me if you would like to talk about it. 870-926-0080
Thanks, Jamie

Files are too large on the photos. If I could get some help posting them I would appreciate it.

As far as I know the car is for real. The trim tag on a mid year vette is located on a support bar under the glove box so they are normaly pretty well protected and in decent shape. I did not see anything about this one to concern me. If anyone else sees something I don't please let me know because there are alot of people on this site much more knowledgeable than I.
The knockoffs and sidepipes are both reproductions. The frame is clean and solid. I can e mail photos of anything you would like.
Thanks, Jamie

Font for Body, Paint, Style and Trim looks different - too crisp? Haven't looked at one in a while, maybe I'm wrong. Black/red not the most common combination.

What about the finish of the bar the tags are attached to? Most I've seen are greenish primer, this looks like a darker crinkle finish and it looks to be under the tags as well??

I know this is my car but I will have to just offer my humble opinion like anyone else. I have only owned two other mid-years but I don't see anything about the tag on this one that looks out of line compared to the ones I have seen. As far as the paint finish on the bar they are attached too. It is not a crinkle paint the best way to describe it is just a rough poor quality respray that looks a lot more textured in the close up than in person. Like I said I am no expert and would not want to misrepresent anything so any opinion is welcome.

I have some pics of the vin plate and trim tag from a 65, vin 100011. Car was very rough, but the plate and tag looked new. Don't see any problem with that tag.

Wow. Big block A/C car. I have always thought of the 390 hourse 427 as kind of the bastard step child, but I guess it is the most hp you could get from the factory and still get A/C, right? Very cool car.

Kind of hard to beat that car - black over red guts, big block 4 sp vertN Vette with A/C, sidepipes, and knockoffs. 66 is my favorite year, too.

Good luck with the sale.

-----Not in 66, Tex!!! Although technically, You may be correct as early 66 390s were rated at 400 just as early 425s were rated at 450......Bill S

I really do like this car. The black with the red guts is striking. It has all the cool options too, only missing is the telescopic.

Good luck on the sale.

Looks like the car is sold pending payment. I just wanted to thank Rick for his help with the photos and everyone else for their comments and information. This is the best group of car guys around.
