The car has a lot of doc's to back up the trim tag. I own the car and would welcome any comments. I have gone over every number on this car (as far as motor, rear ect..) and they match and are not re-stamps. The flash on my camera make it look a bit funny but many "camaro guys" have seen it and all say its fine.

No offense to you at all Vince.. I just wanted to make sure incase we do a deal. There are alot of bogus car out there with fake docs and I just dont want to end up with one. Just a security measure on my part

Not a problem. I did the same thing 2 plus years ago when i bought the car. And before i listed it i asked a few guys here the same thing. The flash on my cheap camera really makes it look a bit strange.

Tag looks legit but it has been off the car [or some car..] judging by the gooped-up rivets.

I was thinking the same thing as William. Looks like it has been off the car.

Not to concerned if the tag has ever been off the car I'll do some more checking it to it when I see it in person. Everything checks out with the build date vs body number the vin and such. Just wanted to make sure the tag was legit and got my answer.. Car is coming to Minnesota cant wait to get it.

Happy Birthday, Andy! Do you want to share any pics of your new purchase?

The car is a very straight car. I dont think there is a scratch on the car. The vin# is there by the oil filter and not a re-stamp. I got the car a few years back from a collector i trust. The car has a original window sticker, Original dealer sign-off sheet, protecto plate. I can't say everything on the car is original, ie, alt, ect.. but the impotant stuff is there and the body and paint are excellent. It has over 19 options on the car. A Nice doc L78 car is hard to find and for what he paid for it he should go to jail!

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. Looks like a nice car, but some of those docs are repros.

Should have guessed that. I am guessing that is where Kurt saw the docs.

And again Feb. 16.
