Restoring 1969 chevelle ss 396 ci 325hp.Needing correct # block,heads,intake,distributor,carb.This is a manual trans car.Any leads would appreciated

Thanks for the response and link TDW but the casting # is wrong.I believe I need a 3935440.

Data plate has 3D.Build sheet has April 1 1969.Do any of the blocks have the correct suffix code JA.

They stopped making the 440 block Aug. of 1968. They were used in late 68 and very early 69 units. Being a march car I would say you need a 272 block.
