Decal - Help needed

i need to know how to save my 1969 Camaro's Tire pressure OEM decal that was Painted over years ago in the door jamb. If it is not stuck real well, try a razor blade to get under the paint and then an air gun to get under the paint to blow it off. If is soaked in the sticker, no idea.
