Here are two designs I did, that I sent off to Mr Motion. I know my Arrow point stripes arn't for those of you traditionalists. And thats cool! I just wanted to do something totally different to grab his attention, & something very modern. Chrome paint, with Carbonfibre hood & airbrushed paint, and Konig wheels.
Also, the boomboxes on the front bumper are not my creation, I just worked over the "VR" concept camaro. Check it out to really see how much I changed it.

The back.
I am struggling with the fact that I like this one the most out of what you've posted so far, yet can't put my finger on what it is that makes me feel this way. It might be the hood and the amount of black.
Not a fan of the euro ducts in the front and back of the lower body kit, the rocker kit and the spoiler. At least I think I don't but there is something I like here.
I would like to see if you did one with the influence of the green and white 69 Mexican Camaro with the 3 post spoiler. Thanks for continuing to share with us.

Thanks, It definitely has a presents! I'm the same with you on the Euro ducts, & the spoiler I designed to match the concept. Here is the car I worked from. As far as the 69 green & white Mexican car goes, I will check it out. At the moment, I'm waiting on approval from Mr Rosen to show you what I have been doing recently!! It's killing me not being able to show you guy's!!!

I am thinking this ride is ready to run Bristol or Martinsville with those big brake cooling ducts ! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

Its not too bad. I dont think I would like the chrome paint as much but I do like the way it looks in your concept. It looks more of a light blue silver and I think the black accents the color well. As for the boomboxes, NAH!!! Other than that its not bad.

Still really hard to imitate "chrome" paint without actually seeing it in person, but the last one looks good in my eyes.
It's hard to do the originals justice; unless of course you have one . . .

Thanks, Chrome is a hard one to Imitate! Here is a gold (Non Motion) New Camaro I did. Gold Finger car. http://www.yenko.net/attachments/451274-goldcam1.jpg
I like that too. I'm sure the hood is part of the appeal for me. The grille area looks a little too Audish for me. I would like to see that more in keeping with the 69 influence. All else is cool for me.

Thanks for your comments, I did one in green that looks great. And with the grill, I was going for a split bumper style. I do see what you mean though.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I think your work is very nice but, my problem with what you've shown is that the cars look like charicatures of a Camaro. The details appear out of proportion for the car itself; the scoop, the wheels, the spoiler; etc. look too big for the body of the car.
I feel the same way about the manufacturers offerings; there's no overhang and the cars have such tall, flat sides that they almost look like something being viewed in a fun house mirror.
I think your designs would look much better if you toned down some of the add ons and made the car blend more; make these items appear like they belong instead of afterthoughts.

They are just concepts, made for visual impact. Thanks for you opinions though.

Understood and I didn't mean to come off as a d#$k just making an observation; trust me I know I couldn't even come close to doing what you do.

Your cool Dave! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif The designs I'm showing are older ones. So my more recent ones have progressed to become more realistic proportionally.
