Figured I would share this, I havent had much time on my junk lately, been busy I have a family problem, when anyone in my family gets a project, Jeff gets a new project.... That part is true but it doesnt really bother me its family!
The car my Brother bought is a decent untouched 65 SS Chevelle nice running driving original car, Paint is faded and it has its fare share of 45 years of door dings and a few times driving by brail.. Its a 283 Super Sport car has more documentation than I have ever seen on a car, the original numbers drivetrain are in tact evrything is original.
Now comes the project end of it, He decides he wants to paint it.... well he decides im going to paint it, as that goes they always need more work than intended at it has been. Now the 283 ran perfect but driving around Scottsdale everyone thinks its a race to the next intersection so I gave it a enima, I kept the original engine in tacr just baged it up, the original powerglide was rebuilt and reinstalled. should be a nice driver when done another month should have it.

The enima, I kept the original engine all intact so it can go back at any time, The replacement will give it that litle extra it needs, I used a mild 454 with a early 396 Iron intake and short pump and correct short brackets looks like a stock 66 SS 396 under the hood, im sure this will last one year in Scottsdale then I will be getting a car back for bigger power...

Bruce, His name is Blake This is really his first old car, he did have a really clean 68 chevy truck Green one I sold him, You migh have seen it driving around.
Do you know of a 69 Blue Z28 Camaro running around there with white houndstooth and incorrect white stripes, Kinda PT style. It might have been at Good Guys this year.. I have a good story about that car...

You know the old saying, "It's never enough." You can have a nine-second street car and someone would still challenge you.
Cool build.
