I am looking to put power brakes on my 1971 Nova. I want to keep it original, so i thought this would be the place to ask my question.
As I am looking at all the options, I am not sure what is the correct combination. My car has front and rear drums, and an externally stock smallblock. It was originally manual brakes.

The following are the things I was wondering about.
9" or 11" booster
squared off or rounded master cylinder
Master cylinder with bleeders or not

anyone else done this conversion? what else do I need, it seems there is a bracket that mounts on the engine to hold the vacuum hose, a new vacuum fitting for the intake manifold and the check valve and vacuum hose kit.
I have been looking at ground up's products.....any caveats on them. I have had good experience with their other products so far, but thought I should check.

again I want to keep it looking factory, and I'm just not sure what is correct. Any help you guys can provide on this would be great.
Thanks guys
Ben

Ben, go with an 11 inch booster, and the master will be the squared off type w/bleeders, not round like a "309". As for the conversion kits, I think they are similar. However, I never did one.. I personally don't care for Ground Up I have had bad experiences w/them. I would check National Nostalgic Nova's website. I know they have this stuff plus if you have a tech. question you can ask them directly and get someone on the phone that knows a little more than just a parts salesperson...

Just my .02 Hope I was of some help... Rich http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
