Ditto... I sent an email. If you find out what color's the car on the build-sheet had, please let me know. I'm hoping its for a white on red with black vinyl COPO. That would be pure luck for me!

Gave him a vin range (haven't seen the buildsheet so who knows if he is just collecting vins) the buildsheet wasn't in that range luckily there is GM of Canada! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

No reply back yet.

Exciting find for someone w/ a known Copo but even more so if an existing car w/ unknown Copo history is found!.

No wonder the guy hasn't posted the Vin yet...I wonder how far and wide he's tried tracking it so far?.

And where's Roger D and his Harrell Copo car?.
So busy working on his resto that he hasn't been on the site for weeks!.

He could save a lot of emails by posting the VIN on here or Team Chevelle. Maybe someone knows the car.

Looks like you're the only one that got a reply. Can you spare some of us some grief by posting the range that the build sheet was NOT in? Perhaps that would also count some of our cars out???

I asked if the build sheet vin was in the range of B388XXX - his reply below

Re: COPO BS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The B is correct, but not the numbers. Sorry....

If none of the three numbers were correct, then the car must have been right at the end of production like ours 4XXXXX. Hey, it might be mine but I'm not into playing games.

Keith that's exactly what I got out of his reply -

Assuming that, then it's more than likely gonna be from an 07A or later Chevelle...

Ours was a 7E build, last week of July. I only know of one other later.

Oh well, the VIN is too late for my car. It would be cool to see it reunited with the car, provided the car is still around.

The one here is a 4th week July build.
