SYC members,
I need help finding a source/s for date coded glass for my 69 Nova SS. The glass in the car is original (less the windshield) but has scracthes in them. I'm completing a high resto and the glass is the last item I need. I was going to try polishing the glass but I think it will still show.

I did a little bit of research, and apparently Pilkington Classics are the guys you want to use. 1-800-848-1351 http://www.pilkington.com/the+americas/usa/english/automotive/agr/pilkington+classics/default1.htm

There is a claim they are the original makers of our glass and have all the correct logos and date codes. Not sure if this is true or not, someone will have to chime in.

I've used Pilkington Classics several times for my own cars and customer cars. They have the original stencils for date coding and the LOF logo. You will not be disappointed. If you decide to use them talk to Al and tell him Dan from Dan's Glass sent you.
