These would be a very nice set of license plates for anyone here with a 1969 COPO or 427 Corvette. This is not my auction nor do I know the seller.

The seller is a freind of mine who is a major license plate collector. He is also the owner of some very significant Pontiacs and was a participant in the inaugural MCACN show, along with being an invited guest for our "Class of 1970" display.

In addition to these, he has literally thousands of other plates. If there is any IL or other plate you may want, it is very possible that he has them.

Here is another source for plates. I have bought and met with the Alabama tag Man "Ed" on a couple of occasions and his stuff is always nice. To see the inside of his barn is amazing. I think he may have over 100,000 tags. Thousands of them are still in the plastic bags and in the actual cabinets they were in in the courthouses. Those License plate collectors are a serious bunch.... Ed has Bone Cancer and is sometimes tied up with his treatments but when he is working he still runs a tight ship. he is familiar with the YOM (Year Of Manufacture)questions too, I have YOM plates on all my Novas and the Camaro.

Vic Di Agasteno had the very same plate on his Fathom Green COPO Chevelle back at SCRVI?
