I don't think we should either confirm or deny how much time one's other half spends looking at, reading, and posting about cars. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

Cal (ZAPPER68) just called me from Canada and also cannot get into the site. He has tried several different ways of getting in and also using his sign on and it will not bring up the site. Would you also check on that for him as well. Same issue with Verne F. Thanks Rob!

Thanks Pete. I told him to try that but I will send him a direct link and see if that works.

Did they say exactly what the problem is, or what they see/don't see? I looked at both of their accounts and didn't see anything on our end...??
The sticky at the top of the Comments/Suggestions forum (CLICK HERE (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=33760#Post33760 )) is always a good place to start with login troubles...

Rob,
I sent Pete's link to Cal and that worked perfect so he is good to go. I had a similar issue when I tried logging in using my pre-existing link that brought me directly to the forums. Once I went via www.yenko.net (http://www.yenko.net) I got right in. I will also pass that link onto Verne and will bet he too will now be able to get in. Thanks for looking into it and dealing with al the headaches as of late.

Must've bookmarked a different page (active topics, my home, etc), because the link to the main forum page is the same (works) as before...

If it means anything, the 'Active Topics' link I posted was a new one I'd saved in my fav's a couple days ago...the old one I had always used previously was dead after the new and improved site changes..

That's it...some of the internal url's are different. I'd never even thought of that...nice catch...that would be a good one to add to the "I can't log in" sticky... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

I feel like Don Knotts in the 'Love God' as I didn't catch anything nor have a clue what you guys are talking about much less what a url is and am only bumbling my way along in the computer world like the rest of us 'older' fellas here probably are too?.

One thing I did notice w/ the site changes that I doubt can be fixed is Google searching for old threads here used to be a magical thing but now lands on a dead-end or main page instead of the thread it seems you've found?.
For example, Googling something like this w/ the brackets being the Google box ( "yenko.net" copo 9737 unconverted 1968 ) results in an old thread here but when you click on the result it's now a dead-end where w/ the old system it used to work great?.

Pete: those old search results will be broken, but those "spiders" and "bots" you see in the Who's Online page are working tirelessly to get their search engines updated...won't take them long!
But until then, when you do find search results via google, click the "cached" link immediately under said google result, and it will bring up a stored copy of the page... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif
