What is the correct battery for my '69 El Camino, 350/300 with A/C? R**????

sounds like a question for MR70 ! I have an R59 in my 69 L78.

That 350/300 w/AC was an R-59 normally..but it coulda come with the extra cost R-59<span style="font-weight: bold">S</span> too,if special ordered with an optional T-60 Heavy Duty battery.
R-59 had 335cca..R-59<span style="font-weight: bold">S</span> had 410cca.

My 69 Malibu 350/300hp auto ac car shows an R69 on the build sheet. Did they even make that battery?

I can't help that!!

My build sheet also lists RPO K85, 63 amp alternator. Never seen one of those either. Just 61 amp alts. The car is heavily optioned.
