View Full Version : Dog dish hubcap resto...
Hi guys. Do you folks know of anyone who restores dog dish hub caps? Mine are really nice, but a couple have a few flaws (one or two very minor dents, etc). I'm not sure of my capability to dolly 'em out with causing more trouble <g>.
Thanks in advance.... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Thanks man. Rick has already e-mailed me back too. I'll send him some pix of the dents this week. I suspect he can work his magic. And he sure does sound like a great guy.

BTW: Thanks for the superb hook up. That's the stuff that makes this board so neat! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/youguysrock.gif

unless they have been beat to death with a balpeen hammer, rick can fix them. he took curb rash out of my original four clip trim rings and the repair is undetectable. you will not be disappointed!
Hey Jake...(and others)
I sent Rick a few photos. He can get 'em done. Apparently he does part of it and someone else does another part of the job (I suspect one guy picks out the dents and the other guy polishes). In my case, he figures he can maintain the OEM finish, which isn't super polished.

Finally took some pictures over the holiday weekend and I just sent him pictures of mine - I think they need more polishing than anything, we'll see what he says. Thanks for the information. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif
