I have a good used Moroso oil pan and it has the correct press in pickup. I am running a Extreme Energy XR274R solid roller cam. Comp Cams told me NOT to run a High Pressure Pump and to make sure it is "Anti-Cavitation".

My question, will the Moroso 22162 pump work for my application? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-22162/

If not...any suggestions?

Thanks, Kurt

That sounds right.

Moroso's blueprinted racing oil pumps feature anti-cavitation slots and enlarged feeder grooves that are ball-milled smooth, providing steady oil flow to each side of the gears for high-rpm lubrication. They feature a Parkerized coating that retains oil for extra lubrication during break-in and cold starts. The included intermediate shafts are manufactured from SAE 4150 chromemoly steel, with a slot drive for positive engagement and to withstand high-rpm operation. Each pump is individually tested to ensure proper functionality.

Thanks Paul. I am going to contact Moroso and see if that one will work.
