Okay all you "old" guys (like me), here's one for you. If no one guesses this right away I'll give you a few hints.
Okay, one hint right off the bat is, it will help if you're familiar with So. Calif.

We actually went right by there when we went for that "test drive" in the Nova. By the way, you won another "drive", but this time I'll try and not miss a shift!! Or better yet, you can drive!! For extra credit, do you remember the other entrance to OCIR??

I do remember that way...now that you mention it. The entrance I was talking about was the "free" way to get in...off of the "freeway"...LOL <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif

We may be in town over Independence Day? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif

So there's still open land in Orange County? How the hell did that happen?

It's probably super-polluted and the EPA cleanup costs have scared any potential developers away <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/haha.gif

That is pretty amazing in itself!! This particular piece of land has been vacant for as long as I can remember. There are a lot of office buildings all around it and I'm sure it's days are numbered! The old saying was "welcome to smog-free Orange County" and now it's "welcome to orange-free Smog County!!" At least they can't take away our memories.

I have a bunch of 60's commercials that were played on KHJ for OCIR. I can hear the jingle now..."Come to the Orange County International Raceway...."
