They have a hugger orange 69 copo camaro listed. The vin# is much earlier than the first yenko camaro in 69. The description is written very carefully. Can someone help, i think it might be a clone do to it's early vin#. Thanks,Roger

Clickable to R & S Monterey Consignment # 7026...
http://www.russoandsteele.com/collector-car/1969-Chevrolet-Camaro-COPO/5612
VIN 124379N554308
This Vin is listed as a car being offered without reserve and selling for $80,000 plus premium and taxes at the 2007 Bonhams auction at the Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club in Carmel, California..
Engine stamp on file from the Bonham auction was noted as T2219MN
(Yes month as 22?).
Ad wording and 2007 sale $ seems to indicate a replica...perhaps others have more definate info?.

Interesting results if you google the VIN.
Looks like this car (and several others) was part of an SEC seizure and liquidation.
In the report it lists another 69 Camaro with a different VIN as a COPO and the Orange one as simply a 427 Camaro. Judging by the significant difference in the selling prices between the two cars one can draw their own conclusions?

That car has offered around for along time.. The Vin isnt even close. I cant believe in this day and age that they would even try to pass it off as real and IMO the seller has to know what he as stated above the decription is very carefully written.
