Members, a friend is finishing up a novel she wrote and the main character drives a black ’69 Chevelle SS with a red side stripe.
She’d like to use a picture of a car like this on the cover of this book. Any members out there that would allow their black Chevelle SS with a red stripe to be used as a cover car on a mystery novel? She’d like to use one with the permission of the owner rather than pull a picture from the internet.

If so, please email a photo to [email protected]

Sam, thank you. She even wanted a red interior car like yours, but we thought it would be to hard to find that combination.
She was going to change the description to match the color of any interior she could find. Yours will work perfect.

No problem Tim. I'd be proud to have my 'velle gracing the cover of a mystery novel. Does she have a working title for her book?

Woj has the same color combo on his SS 'velle too <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif.

I think there was a similar car recently featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines?

I'll get the title to the book from her. We were visiting at the gym and she mentioned that she needed this for her book.
I'll tell you this, she's not at all hard to look at.

I hope the owner of the Chevelle is not strangled to death by a Mopar guy hiding in the back seat.

It's doubtful that the heroine of this book would allow that to happen (seein's how she drives a '69 'velle SS and all <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif), but I guess we'll have to wait for the book to hit the bookstores to find out!!!

Red interior to hide the blood stains of the frequently dismembered Ford owners. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif
