LEGENDARY SUPER CAR SHOWROOM
Presented by the Super Car Workshop in Building G
Before the term “super car” was used in reference to six figure, mid-engine, Euro cars, it applied to high-performance domestic muscle cars from the peak days of drag racing. We will honor those super cars once again in Building G (located by Gate 1). The Legendary Super Car Showroom presented by the Super Car Workshop and Arone Auto Restoration is an awesome display of GM models that were taken to the next level by select dealerships, including Berger, Yenko, Dana, Harrell, Gibb, Motion and Nickey. For a sneak peak at some of the very rare, very valuable and very fast cars that will be on display click on the link below. This year the emphasis is on 1970, believed by many to be the high-water mark in factory performance.
Meet Tony Huntimer, noted Camaro author. He will be with us all weekend selling and personalizing copies of his new Camaro restoration book. Plus, he will be hosting a "LIVE" podcast Friday & Saturday from The Legendary Super Car Showroom located in Building “G”! (Exact times will be posted at all the buildings.) Check out the Super Car Workshop on FACEBOOK (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Super-Car-Workshop/101892463181609#!/album.php?aid=7464&id=101892463181609&ref=pb) for Carlisle car updates, restoration pictures etc.
Historian/Author/Photographer Bob McClurg will be at the Legendary Super Car Showroom event building "G" and selling copies of his new book "Yenko the man, the machines, the legend" all weekend. He will be joined by Author, Tony Huntimer looking for feature cars to shoot for many major magazines.
