Yes, they are definitely reproduced. There's a guy in Carlisle who has em every year, same guy also sells model cars. I have a couple of originals, and the repros are pretty decent, but not exact (what repro ever is?) There are actually 2 versions, the one shown in that thread you linked, and an older style with gold USA-1 lettering. Both have been reproduced by the same guy.
