Hey Guys,
Can anyone help with the original application of this cool vintage Goodyear? It is a white lettered, F70-14.
Shelby Mustang? Run of the mill replacement tire?
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
In that top picture of the whole tire, is that a DOT number stamped into the sidewall near the tire bead? if so, how many digits (numbers and or letters) are there?
That said, I don't ever recall seing a tire that looks like that, either OEM or aftermarket <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

What does the other side look like? The reason I ask is because the reverse of the OEM G70-14 in my friends low mile Judge Conv looks darn near identical.

Would an F70 14 be for a 70 Camaro SS?

Is that realy white lettered or did someone just brush some white paint on the letters of a blackwall?

I'm with you Joe; looks like a home paint job to me.

That is very possible. Has the appeal of a vintage Goodyear Slick or road race tire but the design of a run of the mill passenger car tire...
