Hey Every one, Here is a concept I did. I worked over a Picture of an already Awesome SS, & put together the Skunk Ape logo's. http://i794.photobucket.com/albums/yy221/ANDREW_MACTAVISH/Skunk%20Ape/skunkape.jpg

License plates are wrong, should be New York, and read "ML-8907".

It's a concept! I borrowed the original image & worked over it. I thought I said that in the begining.

Take it easy,I thought if Mr.Motion had a concept car he would put his tag on it. No harm intended.

My Fault, I read your response incorrectly. Sorry. Mr Motion has some of my concepts at the moment. A new Camaro Phase III concept & an LS7 concept.

That is good and thank you.

I always thought it would be cool to build a modern Phase III GT Corvette. Use the original body mods, maybe freshen them up a bit, add a modern LS7 with modern 6 speed. Maybe use one of those aftermarket SRIII frames and hang modern Corvette suspension.

Any chance of creating one of your concepts depicting something like that?

It's a possibility Dave. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Andrew,
Not to burst your bubble as I think what you are doing is cool but this was already done along time ago by Joel himself and it was called the Phase III Mindbender http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/122072-MindbenderArticle1.jpg http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/122076-MindbenderRtFront.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/122077-MindbenderLtFront.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/122081-MindbenderRearClose.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/122082-MindbenderHood.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/123537-SS-1968-10-cover.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/baldwin%20motion/123552-SS-1968-12-cover-inside.jpg
No offense bud but that would be more of a clone than a concept

Andrew has put the Stinger on a cowl hood. Now lets see a close up of the air cleaner and which openings in the hood are functional. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

I didnt see the cowl hood before. All Im getting at is it looks like Mindbender. I feel a concept is an idea that has not yet been made a reality. If I were Andrew I would do something crazy that hasnt been done like maybe a MOTION Monza or a Motion themed concept for a 78-81 Malibu classic or Motion themed 78-87 Impala or caprice 2 door. Theres still plenty of those cars around and every one looks like the next. Those ideas could probably catch on with the crowd that has those cars. My buddy and I built a MOTION themed 80 El Camino and everytime we pull it out of the garage my driveway quickly begins to fill up with people that want to look at it.
Andrew seems to be very talented I think he should set his sights towards cars that dont look like one that were already built. http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/Picture402-1.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/Picture398-1.jpghttp://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr262/motionwannabe/Picture403-1.jpg The car didnt yet have the front windshield in it when these pics were taken

Actually there was a Monza Spyder at Motion in the mid 70's (75/76?) I remember taking pictures of it the weekend I dropped my camera off the boat.

actually dropping my camera in the drink sucked. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/mad.gif

I remember the Monza was shoved up against the "mini car" wall on the west end of the building. Not sure if or how separate Joel and Bill Mitchell were at this point of the operation. Maybe Marty has some recollection of the Monza Spyder, it had wild flairs similar to the Corvette Spyder if I recall.

Wow!!! Well I guess im a couple of decades too late huh! Believe it or not, I have never heard of, nor seen Mindbender before. I would be arrogant/ignorant to put a concept on this forum that was already done. I guess I need to do better research next time. Thanks for the feedback every one.
