Browsing the inventory...this one seemed interesting. Thought they'd have more doc's than a protecto plate considering the original owner was the dealer. Neat car.

This is a well known clone. A good friend of mine owned it and at the time of his ownership, it was cool L88 powered Corvette. I do not who owns it now nor do I know its mechanical or cosmetic condition.
The car is a Shriner 300hp convert. Someone transplanted the L88, an M22 and a factory 4.56 diff. I physically affixed the decals to the doors.
And to clear the air... the L88 is not the COPO option - the 300hp Shriner part is.

More COPO's also being sold, FYI. I love citrus green. Must mean I'm getting old.

Unless the ad was recently updated; I can see where the car is advertised as having started out as a 300hp car.

I really like the very carefully worded description of "dealer-upgraded"! I also remember this particular car from quite a ways back, but what they don't tell you is that it was "dealer-upgraded" to an L-88 in 1989 probably and NOT 1967. Little bit of a difference there.....just a little bit! Anyway, I can't think of a worse "parade" car for the Shriner's organization than a '67 L-88 Corvette! It would've overheated within the first block and that loooong duration camshaft and 4-speed would have made for pure misery for the driver!
Do people have luck eliminating wheel-hop with shocks alone?
I went to ladder bars, then to no-hop bars. Probably go back to ladder bars for the sake of nostalgia.
