2010 MCACN`s 1969 Chevelle Display

I am currently organizing another awesome 1969 Chevelle Display at this years Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals held at Donaold E. Stephens Convention Center on November 20th and 21st. I am looking forward to seeng my old friends and meeting new friends. See you all in November.

I am currently looking for one more candidate to fill my 12 car field. If you or someone you know has a beautiful 1969 Chevelle and would like to be apart of this historic event, please contact me (630) 699 -5578.

Today I confirmed the last 1969 Chevelle entering my display....The Chevelle belongs to Brad and Jared Hausfeld. There Chevelle is a 1969 Cortez Silver COPO!

For anyone who may be wondering, we have been full-full for quite some time now. The quality overall is absolutely amazing.

The Hausfeild COPO registered at SCR, and when Dan had an open spot to make it an even dozen, he extended the invite to them to slide into this incredible display.

There is also a really neat unrestored original 1970 Chevelle LS6 coming in from the Hausfield colllection for Vintage Certification.

Chevelle fans will be blown away at what we have in the show.

----I know it wouldnt be in the show if it wasnt a spectacular 69 but how did the one car get around the &quot;heater/defroster&quot; necessity? Oh,,,And which 69 is it? I have been under the general idea that you just couldnt get a heater/defroster delete in 69, but am old enough to know that its a never say never type of thing with GM. Just would love to get the skinny on how this edict (I thought) was circumvented.......Bill S

Wow! What a Show! I wanted to personally thank Bob and Vickie, the entire staff and the rest of the owners of MCACN`s for hosting the Best Muscle Car Show on our Planet!

I also want to thank my Family of `69 Chevelle owners that I was in contact with... the last past year in making this event possible. It was a pleasure working with all of you and developing strong new friendships with all of you.

My camera battery died along the way, so sorry if I did not get to take a picture of everyone.

Albert Galdi`s Burnished Brown ZL-1 transplant..... Albert your the BEST! I really appreciate your friendship. Every time I have asked Albert to come to one of my gatherings, he has done so each and every time. This was Albert`s fourth yearly trip to Chicago....each time hauling a 1969 Chevelle from New Jersey.

Stephano Bimbe`s Nickey Continuation #001 Chevelle. Stephano really stepped up to the plate to help bring this spectacular Chevelle to the show. This Chevelle also scored a Gold Concourse &quot;Day Two&quot; award.

Dan sure knows how to set up a display. His tireless efforts to get these cars signed on as part of it, but also the work he personally did to prep more than one of them for showing.

Looking at these shots is just amazing.

My hat is off to Dan and each and every one of the owners who were a part of this incredible display.

To say you are a hosting a display of '69 Chevelles is one thing, but to see what Dan and the guys actually put together is nothing short of mind blowing.

The best part is, I know Dan will once again accept the challenge to coordinate yet another incredible gathering for MCACN 2011...more on that later, and let me just say it aint what you are thinking!
