Dana offered the car to Charlie for a Napkin!. Charlie said no money and Macum said he would take his napkin and he still walked away!!!! How real was the bidding to $400k? No bidders were shown on camera. Jim

I was also wondering the same thing. For whatever reason I don't think that there much was real money on that car. I will be interested to see Milt Robsons ZL1 sell at no reserve next month to see what the market really is. I do not know its history but assume its the real deal.

Dana meant was he would take my IOU written on a napkin. Dana has been known to work deals with people like that. He was serious.

Are we saying this will be the market set in stone because every collector in the world will be there or bidding on this car!!!
Not every ZL1 is worth what another one is worth in my mind. Its like a thumb print and there is NO two alike. LOL!!!! This auction or any other auction is not the market in my mind...There is cars selling out there for money besides at the auction that most people have no clue. Some collectors have no clue whats going on at these auctions or couldnt care less because of the monkey business that goes out there at these auctions..

For both parties involved. Speaks volumes of the character of both gentlemen. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif
