i was at show a few times this summer were 5 to 10 minute rain showers happened.
there was one guy i remembered seeing put on a temporary plastic disposable car cover.
when the rain stopped he took off the thin plastic car cover and the car was pretty clean and did not get water everywhere like my car did.
i hate spending time to dry up my car after a small rain shower, does anyone know were these are sold.
Any store in Canada ?
It would be great to have one in my trunk for back up against rain !

Can't say I can help you with a source Danny, but I would be a little concerned about such an item being against my paint. Of course, it would all depend on the fabric makeup.

Body shops I've been in have that stuff in rolls that come in a big box. Rolls out like saran wrap, but doesn't cling. They use it to cover cars they don't want to get dust or overspray on.

Plastic covers will scratch black paint... Ask me how I know...better off drying the water off than buffing the scratches out IMO.

Gotta agree with Joe on this one. I wouldn't put a plastic cover on a car unless I had a cloth type 'buffer' between it and the paint. Inside a building (body shop) is one thing but outside in the elements (sun) is another story, and it ain't just the scratches you gotta worry about. Again; experience speaking.
