IS CODE 67-67 A RARE COLOR FOR A STANDARD 69 Z CAR ?

Yes; about 2% of all '69s according to our un-scientific db.
Don't know why. I think it is a great color. A friend had one a few years back; sold new at Nickey Chev.
An early production Burgundy Z/28 is believed to have had red stripes.

ALSO I THINK THAT CODE 67 WAS A NORWOOD COLOR ONLY ? LA BUILT CAR DID NOT HAVE THAT COLOR AVAILABLE ?

Didn't we see that Burgundy/red stripe combo when Darren assembled the "one of every color" in 2008, maybe ?

Los Angeles built at least one Burgundy '69 RS Z/28 that I know of (now which garage did I put that in???)......
Code 67 67 - Burgundy (no vinyl top) / White Stripes / Black Deluxe Interior / 01D build date / currently finished in Burnished Brown.
Not sure why this was a special order color for LA built cars but I like it anyway.....

I know of a Burgandy Red Stripe 69 RS Z here in the Phoenix area. It even has the rare tuck and roll interior option. The car was originally out of Colorado.

Do you know if it has any original pics documenting the red stripes? So far, the pic above is the only Z that's surfaced with red stripes.....
All the others have white stripes.

I will try to get another look at the car. I'm not sure if it is an original paint car, didn't have time to look very close the only time I saw it. It will be a while, I am tied up the next two weeks.
