Did the factory put spark plug heat shields on the 1970 LS6 454 SS Motor?
Please let me know as i am deciding whether or not to put these on.
I went through all my photos of original LS6 unrestored motors and it seems as though these shields did not come on the motor from the factory,am i correct?

No heat shields were ever installed on your LS6 from the factory. So your pictures are correct.
