Since we raised the bar to a level never before seen for an indoor Muscle Car, Dealer-built Supercar and Corvette specialty show, our work is cut out for us for 2011.

Please make a note of the dates now so that you can be a part of our on-going commitment to again, build upon the momentum and once again, raise the bar. The dates are November 19-20, 2011.

What would YOU like to see at the MCACN 2011 show?

Several of the special Invitational displays we have discussed; "The Class of '71" featuring what many consider the final year for all-out performance and crazy colors and graphics, a ZL1 Camaro display, featuring one of each of the available colors, a 1970 Challenger T/A Reunion, featuring the Trans-Am inspired multi-carbed Mopars we all love and also several variations featuring real muscle-car era race cars.

Let's hear what YOU would like to see, or if there is a special gathering you would like to help organize, let's hear it!

This show is about the cars and the people, so let us know your thoughts, comments and idea's. 2011 is going to be another great year for MCACN!

Also, what automotive celebrity, past or present, would you like to see and meet at the show?

This is a good opportunity for Bob's partners and friends to express our thanks and gratitude for a job well done!

MCACN II was a tremendous success on many levels and MCACN III will be even better.

I can say, without a doubt that it was the best Car Show which I have ever been to, or experienced first hand.

Also, we can't forget Vicki, Ian and all the workers, patrons, participants and volunteers, as well as any and all contributors, including the sYc, who helped make MCACN a big hit.

I cannot say enough about the MCACN crew and owners all who brought together what was likely the best indoor car show anywhere in the United States. The history of many of the cars there was second to none. If ever there was a car show to fly or travel to, this is it.

"What would YOU like to see at the MCACN 2011 show?'

How about a 66-69 427 and SS427 showcase to include Biscaynes and Bel Airs as well? There are some really neat suvovor race cars out there as well and there are enough sYc members who own one of these are at least know someone that does. They have received very little attention over the last 20 years and have only recently been recognized as a viable muscle car and investment. It would be great to see every year and body style represented. I sold off my 67, 68 and 69 SS427's several years ago but they are still neat cars.

I like the idea of a showcase of the 50th(!) Golden Anniversary of the 1961 factory offered Super Stockers! Now if someone wanted to split hairs, they could argue that the SS Wars started a little early, but to me and many others 1961 was the year where the Big Three Auto Manufacturers REALLY get serious! With Chrysler, the Ramchargers started to campaign a brand-new '61 Chrysler product with the 413 Long Ram, the Pontiac Super Duty really started to take off with some great factory-installed and over-the-counter offerings, Chevrolet had it's 348-350 HP Tri-Power and the famous 409 became available later in the year and Ford had it's 390-401 HP Tri-Carb Starliners. It was a great year and when 1962 rolled around, things got even more serious and then once again in 1963! After the GM Racing Ban in mid-'63, 1964 belonged to Ford & Chrysler for the most part. Yeah, to me and many other people 1961 was the beginning of the factory Super Stock Wars and Musclecar Era in general!

I mentioned to Bob that I think it would be cool have a area full of 60's & 70's muscle cars with psyhedelic paint jobs.....cars with lace, murals, endless lines metal flakes etc... with a "Far out" paint job. He seemed to like the idea.

Like this 1969 Roadrunner painted by Kenny Kay.

I would enjoy seeing a Superstock or A/FX class. They always draw a lot of attention at shows and the stories that accompany those cars are usually worth their weight in gold.

A Woodward display might be cool. There probably isn't/wasn't a more significant street racing (er, cruising) venue - featuring some clandestine factory-backed efforts. A few are still around, too.
