How about them Eagles. 28 point against the Giants in less than 8 minutes remaining in the game.

Just to set this up, my sons friends (all Giant fans) asked my son if it would be ok with me (they know I'm a Eagle fan)if they came over to watch the game. Me being an avid philly fan, born and raised; I graciously invited them ( I'm from the city of brotherly love..geez).

Before the game started I was taking some ribbing. Once the game started to unfold the intensity of the verbal abuse intensified. By half time I was fuming and felt the only way to maintain my dignity was to relocate to my study (self imposed seclusion). I had listened for 3 1/2 quarters as they laughed and giggled like girls. I was alone except for my dogs abby and bella. Even my mother in-law gave me a call just to rub the blow out in, and my wife had this smirk on her face (yes a Giant fan). Lillard and friend from Az called just to inform me the Giants scored another touchdown.

In times like this you find out what you're made of, and who your friends are. In the end I was hooting and hollering like a fool as my son and his friends had done. Yep, football games brings out the kid in all of us. This was a remarkable win for the Eagle, and poetic justice for long suffering Eagle fans.

My 11 year old son is a die hard Eagles fan (can't explain that one) and he was working on a school homework project during the game, coming out every now and then to check the score. By the start of the 4th quarter he was pretty bummed out - but the last 5 minutes of the game he was sitting on the edge of the couch in amazement.

It was a pretty unbelievable comeback. That kicker probably wished he would have listened to the coach........

My soon to be brother in law was over (huge Giants fan) and was whooping and hollering all over the house about being up 21 pts by the half. Man was he pissed in the last 8 minutes. It was a good game all around.

I wish the other team from PA could have pulled it out but that was a nice win for the Eagles.

Being a Giants fan, I'm used to this kind of result. I knew they were going to give the game away when they gave up the 67 yard TD to Celek. Coughlin is a terrible coach who can't make the proper adjustments during a game. I hope they don't make the playoffs, but they'll probably back into a wildcard berth. Watching Vick is like Randall Cunningham all over again only from the left side. And the prevent defense only prevents you from winning the game! The Giants continue to prove that! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif

Growing up watching the Jim Kelly years Bills, we used to always call it "the provide" defense. They too were masters at it.
