Donnie, I did a little research and found that the 3927330 clip was also used for the Park Lamp Wiring to Filler
Panel Clip (A/C models) LH.

Here's the link: http://1964-77chevelleparts.com/catalogPDFs/A2%2008%20wiring.pdf Section 8, Page 7

I also found it here: http://www.1955-75chevyautoparts.com/catalogpdfs/B3%2008%20wiring.pdf Section 8, Page 9.

It states: 427 LH rear plug wire stand idle solenoid wire clip

That's all you get....I'm going to watch the Packers play. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Donnie,
The pictured solenoid set up is on a 1969 L78 Nova with a turbo 400 trans.
I believe the same bracket and solenoid was used on Camaro's & Chevelle's in 1969 also if equipped with a solid lifter big block and a turbo 400 trans.

Wow.I have this set up on my L89 chevelle but the solenoid does not seem to work.freemont built car.does this solenoid help with idle emissions?

I don't believe it was a smog component...rather an idle speed "reducer" that compensated for the higher idle of the hi-perf automatic cars. I think Chevy used a similar unit on many 70's engines with smog and a/c..

Thanks for the info.I left the solenoid set up on cause its correct.I have voltage going to it but no continuity from the solenoid.
