Nothing like waking up to -21 degrees on a Monday morning.

No kidding; I spend all last week in the Waukegan, Illinois area only to have my return flight on Thursday cancelled due to weather out East. Finally make it home Friday morning only to wake up this morning to find that I have some frozen pipes in one of the bathrooms.
I used heat lamps, a heat gun and had the heat in the house cranked up hoping that they'd thaw out without breaking; no such luck.

Plumber's on the way but, it's getting dark and cold out so I am not looking forward to this project.
I HATE THE WINTER!!!!!!!!

Northeast will either get crushed tomorrow or get a wintery mix which might actually melt some of whats already on the ground. Only time will tell.

Don't see you or any tourists on that bench! Another one coming by the 1st or 2nd. of Feb. No place for the snow to go anymore. Tommy, If he had pictures of a cute, red headed tourist YOU would be scared.

You mean their cocoons? I bet they never completely came out this year. To many novas, not enough time. I put the studded snows (Goodyear RWL's) that I borrowed from my buddy Donny White on the nova and went out for a ride. Just like the old days in 69 when cars were cars and people actually drove them!

Yeah, this last round of snow was pretty tough. Really wet and heavy. I created my own avalanche after snowblowing too much into a big pile off to the side of the driveway. It got up to about 6' high before it decided it wanted to go back into the driveway! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/shocked.gif I hope the storm this week isn't nearly as bad.

wilma </div></div>That is kinda what is causing it I believe Tommy. Its all about the nor'easters bring too much warm air up from the south/gulf area. Not a meterologist but it's something to that effect.

Nice pics. That's about the perfect tire/wheel combo for that car. Did you bring the ought 6 with you? Looks like a deer standing way back in the corner of that shoot. It won't bleed much in the trunk. (big smile)

Yes Sammy, we got 18.5 inches. Sideways.

I backed the 70 L78 out of the garage last weekend, it was a balmy 48, idled it, goosed it, let it get warm, and then I put my Wife back in the house.

I've been shoveling down my piles this past week. Hopefully it warms up like they said this week and we can melt some of this white stuff. I have some branches and trees that need to be cleaned up as well.

Gotta admit, I really do not like those wheels/tires on the car - and I've had 18+ months to get used to it. Don't know why, but I like the Magnum 500's - perhaps with the polyglas tires..... Might try that look next.

I brought my WHITE Nova home a couple of weeks ago to put it in the new building. I unloaded it from the trailer, moved the trailer out of the yard and went back to put the car inside. Haven't seen it in two weeks now. Anyone have a metal detector I can borrow?
