Is the bottom of the car black or green? Or is that just green over spary? Is it a 68 or 69?

Actually, the bottom is black and will have green overspray, but not yet. Not sure why there's a green tint to the pictures. Guess the camera needed to warm up after coming in from -10.

In my advanced old age, I kinda like getting in a warm truck.
Sammy, Mr. Foreman is thinking that it should be a "as sold new" condition as it's an original drive line car, but I'm sure he'd be glad to hear your input. I think he's hopeing that someone may buy it well before the MCACN. I might just be bringing the 1st lady to MCACN this year.

IMO if its a numbers car how can you hurt it unless you flair the wheel wells or something. If it is like Sam's Deuce or Alan's orange nova it will attract way more attention than another cookie cutter resto. But again its just MO.

Schonyenko2
04-25-2011, 06:47 AM
Not really that fast. As you know it goes along pretty good, then you hit a small snag, or something doesn't show up when it's supposed to. SMS is a little slow on getting their stuff out these days. But she's coming along.
She's gonna be a bbbenny look alike except for the belt line stripe, and the auto on the column. Not many that still have the original drive train.

Alan, is there a reason why you do not keep any of these great cars? Would kill me not to keep them for awhile and drive them a bit. Do you even see the finished product? Seems like as soon as Iowa Boys are done, they are gone in a flash! The ghosts of nova's past!

The ghosts of muscle cars sold were the blue mule and the 10-10 nova, although the greatest joy for me has always been saving a car that was going to die. Someone's gonna end up with one very nice nova!

I have to put in a plug for one of the site sponsors here. This was the 1st time we sent out a car with Reliable, and the couple who picked it up were the most professional, and easy to work with folks we've had the pleasure to work with. I would recommend them anytime.

Thanks to Alan for the work, and hope to do more projects on down the line. It's been a pleasure to work with you.

We have no Novas in the shop now, just Camaros. Somebody send us a Nova before I get withdrawls.

Well, this story has a happy ending.......for me!! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif The car arrived safe and sound a few miles from the house. I knew this was a really nice car but didn't get the full impact until I saw it in person. Really nice work from Ken and the folks at Deuce Heaven.
