I am looking for someone who has a Chicago phone book from 1974 or so. I know it's a long shot but I am trying to look up a phone number from a "For Sale" sign that was taken out of my Chevelle when Dan Vasic owned it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Kurt <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Kurt,
I was doing some research on my super stock '62 Plymouth delivered new in Evanston, Illinois to a dealership that is no longer around. I contacted the Evanston library and they were very helpful. They sent photo copies of adverstisements from the archives of old phone books they still had (back to the 50s!).
Good luck.

When you go to the library, make sure to check the R. L. Polk city directory. There is a reverse phone number lookup in the back of the book. Sort of a stone age google.
Good Luck

One name I have come up with is Michael Aguirre. One address is on Elm St. in Elmhurst IL. He would be in his middle 50's.
I know someone who live in Elmhurst. Dan.....Calling Dan Vasic.
