1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 427
VERY RARE 1967 Impala Super Sport 427 with the Z24 option package = 385HP 427 ,special domed hood ,Fender and trunk emblems. This is an original car built at the Doraville Georgia plant September 15 1966 . I have the original BUILD SHEET to document this car. Also there are two 427 hoods with this car : one is the original SS 427 HOOD and one is the "NOS "427 HOOD .
Some of the factory options are:
Factory RR paint code = Red .
Factory Black bucket seat interior.
Factory F41 Suspension 15/16 front sway bar and rear sway bar heavy duty suspension.
Factory M20 Muncie 4 speed transmission.
Factory 3:73 positraction 12 bolt rear axle.VERY RARE !
Factory J65 Metallic brakes. VERY RARE
Factory Tach and gauges.
Factory AM-FM radio.
Factory U79 Stereo.
Also has Deluxe seat belts and tinted glass AND MORE !
Car was delivered to Hailey Chevrolet in Chattanooga TN . This car was parked in the 1970's and the motor was pulled ( I do not have the original engine but keep reading ), everything else from the bellhousing back was left intact including the original numbers matching M20 trans and 621 Bellhousing .
A correct 3904351 engine block, 1967 427 engine, ID number T0421IE, was located from a well know collector and has been freshly rebuilt top to bottom with all new parts .(never decked) is now detailed and ready to install.
This cars body is now completely disassembled , media blasted and ready for restoration as seen in photos, nothing is missing as far as the hard parts but it will need interior kit and weather strips. Everything has been taken off or apart , photographed and stored .
The following parts are " NOS" . NOS HOOD with used original insert AND YOU ALSO GET THE USED ORIGINAL HOOD,NOS Trunk Lid and many other "NOS" trim PARTS .SOME EXCELLENT HARD TO FIND USED PARTS HAVE ALSO BEEN GATHERED UP FOR THIS RESTORATION.
The body is solid with some repairs over the years as shown , there is RUST IN THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD AREA.
