many Vega wagons had Motion's V8 conversion kit. I personally had more than one on the hook after spitting out the stock rear.
There was a really nice black one that was owned by the guy at S/K speed shop on Sunrise in Rockville Centre.

IMO The old Don Hardy Vega V8 conversions were so much nicer than anything else out there.
Better suspension, true 5 lug pattern on ALL 4 corners, etc.
But Don also built Pro stock cars back then so he was better versed on chassis work I'm sure. .
