I need to know who can recore or who sells replacement cores for a Harrison 4 core curved neck radiator for a 1969 Camaro. When I lived in the Phoenix area in the 80s and early 90s I used to frequent the junkyards in the Buckeye area. I came across a 1969 396 Camaro w/A/C that was stolen and set on fire after the culprits had their fun with the car according to the junkyard owner who purchased the car from the insurance company. I purchased the radiator and the tanks are in good condition but the core was damaged by the heat of the fire. I took it to a Radiator shop and they could not get the radiator to hold water or air pressure and told me it needed a new core. Now I live where good shops are far and few between. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Someone on this site surely has had to have a COPO radiator redone. Thanks

You might start with a call to HeartBeat City. They sell all the components, correct cores, channels etc. They may even run it through there shop that does there work ??

Kim, if you don't have a good radiator shop, you can sent the core you get from Heartbeat City and your side tanks to Robert. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/scholar.gif
