I hope everyone is safe after the line of storms that blew through the midwest last night, check in when you can.
Safe for the moment here in cape, it's all going through the St. Louis area and north.

Just a bump since the nasty weather is back, is everyone ok after the storms last night?

The tornado sirens went off twice here in Cape Girardeau.

Please report in when you get the chance

Not much here in a way of damage, other than somebody calling in to the local TV station and saying part of her roof blew off. There was a report of a 100+ mph wind gust that took out a semi on I-55 and some 2 inch diameter tree limbs down around town. other than that, just rain at the rate of 2 inches an hour.

Here is that picture of the huge hail we had in Herky. The larger pieces were exploding on the ground as soon as they hit but this give you an idea.

that will leave a mark!! (or at least a dent) Since i was being told by the RAs here at school to stay away from the windows, i could not get a picture of what was coming down out here, but looking at some cars in the parking lot today, i think we had some hail for sure, but not that size.

Actually this time the hail didn't leave any dents. The last storm from a few years ago really messed my house up. When the hail came down it sounded like a machine gun.

Here is some pictures of the last bad storm we had. It wasted the siding on one side plus it took out the roof on the house and the back garage. All this happened in a 5 min period and sounded like machine guns going off...
